In depth breastfeeding education on the importance of skin to skin contact, initiating and maintaining milk supply, recognizing feeding cues, position & latch, how to know if baby is getting enough milk and so much more. Best booked in the third trimester ( 32 weeks+).

Initial Postnatal Visit

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! Postnatal visits can be booked once baby has been born and can address early issues such as low supply, difficulty latching, feeding positions, etc. Appointments can also be made to tackle later issues such as weaning and introducing complementary foods. We are here to help at any point in your lactation journey.

Follow-up Postnatal Visit

Though we try hard, not all lactation issues can be resolved during the initial visit and some complex issues may require multiple visits. Or you may simply wish for more support along your feeding journey.

Visit information & POLICY
Office Visits
Office visits are done in Ashley's home office in Maple Ridge (near Dewdney and 202 St). Please park in the driveway and text upon arrival. Also try your best to ensure baby is ready to feed and bring you pump if using one.
Home Visits
Let us come to you! Get assistance with breastfeeding in the comfort of your own home. Areas currently serviced are: Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Langley. If you require a home visit outside of these areas, please contact us as visits may be arranged for an additional fee depending on location. Please try your best to ensure baby is ready to feed and has a clean diaper.
Virtual Visits
If you live in British Columbia and cannot make it in for an office visit or live outside of our home service areas, consider a face-to-face virtual visit. Please try your best to ensure baby is ready to feed and has a clean diaper.
Payments
Payments accepted are cash or e-transfer to lemonlactation@gmail.com. A credit card is required for booking in case of missed appointments or cancellations not made prior to 24 hours.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before appointment. As per our cancellation policy, if cancellation is less than 24 hours prior to appointment, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged.
