Prenatal Visit

Receive comprehensive breastfeeding support and lactation education on the importance of skin-to-skin contact, how to initiate and maintain milk supply, recognize feeding cues, ensure proper position and latch, and determine if your baby is getting enough milk, among many other topics. This session is best booked in the third trimester (32 weeks+).

Initial Postpartum Visit

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! Postpartum visits can be booked once your baby has been born and can address early challenges such as low supply, difficulty latching, and optimal feeding positions. Additionally, appointments can be arranged to tackle later issues like weaning and introducing complementary foods. We are here to assist you at any stage of your lactation journey.

While we strive to address all lactation issues during your initial visit, some complex matters may require additional visits or you might also desire further lactation education as you navigate your feeding journey.

Office Visits
Office visits are located in Ashley's home office located in Maple Ridge (near Dewdney and 202 St). Please park in the driveway and ring the bell upon arrival. Also, try your best to ensure the baby is ready to feed and bring your pump if using one during postpartum visits.
Home Visits
Let us come to you! Get expert breastfeeding support in the comfort of your own home. Home visits are available throughout the Lower Mainland within 25km of West Maple Ridge. If you require a visit outside of these areas, please contact us, as visits may be arranged for an additional fee depending on location. Please try your best to ensure your baby is ready to feed and has a clean diaper.
Virtual Visits
If you live in British Columbia and cannot make it in for an office visit or reside outside of our home service areas, consider a face-to-face virtual visit. . Please try your best to ensure your baby is ready to feed and has a clean diaper.
Payments
Payments accepted are cash or e-transfer to lemonlactation@gmail.com. A credit card is required for booking in case of missed appointments or cancellations not made prior to 24 hours, ensuring you receive the best lactation education and postpartum visits.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment. As per our cancellation policy, if cancellation is less than 24 hours prior to the appointment, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged.
